Effectiveness of Aditya Hridayam in times of COVID-19, Mars retrograde in Pisces etc.
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to haunt the World, humanity desperately tries to develop mechanisms to cope with it. None of us can say how much the World has been able to successfully control the virus. Astrologically speaking, the threat from COVID-19 is far from over. Whatever the testing data says, it is advisable to remain extremely cautious in the months to come.
In this issue of Astro-Jagriti, we will discuss the movement of Mars into Pisces from Aries during its retrograde movement on 8th October 2020. It would continue in the retrograde state till 14th November 2020. This movement of Mars has significant astrological implications on each one of us. Besides, in the Astro-nugget section, we will discuss a question from a reader regarding suicides and depression.
The Highlight of the issue is Aditya Hridayam. Even at the cost of sounding like a stuck record, I would, again and again, emphasise on the power of Aditya Hridayam. Retrogation (Vakri) of Mars in Pisces this month is significant for all of us. Each one of us would be affected depending on our respective horoscope. The impact would be prominent for those having Ascendant (Lagna) in Gandanta (29 degrees Pisces to 0 degrees Aries), those having Mahadasa or Antardasa of Mars, those with Leo and Virgo Lagna (as the transit of Mars would be in 8th and 7th house for them).

There are definite planetary combinations in a horoscope that show suicidal tendencies in a person. These combinations are present in everybody’s horoscope but the degree and intensity vary.
