COVID-19 jolted the entire humanity on an unprecedented scale. Every family on earth suffered irreparable losses. Not only in monetary terms but also loss of near and dear ones. The world is still grappling with the pandemic while it learns to co-exist with the virus. We had discussed earlier that by April-2022 the World would have an upper hand over the virus. But it will continue to affect us seasonally. An excerpt of the conclusion in the article -
Going by the Antonine, Justinian and Spanish Flu incidents, we may also take caution that the virus probably would never get extinct. However, it would probably be like the regular flu viruses that continue to affect us seasonally but is no more a threat to humanity.

Proper Stress management is one of the important factors in boosting immunity. The essence of Bhagavad Gita is all about managing stress. The stress results from the dilemmas and distresses of everyday material existence. In Gita, there are specific slokas that talk about meditation, sleep and diet.
Meditation in Bhagavad Gita 🛡️
The Bhagavad Gita speaks of Meditation in detail. A complete chapter is dedicated to the Dhyana Yoga. Gita prescribes Meditation in Chapter-5, Karma-Yoga, Sloka 27-28, where the Lord says:-
स्पर्शान् कृत्वा बहिर्बाह्यांश्चक्षुश्चैवान्तरे भ्रुवो: ।
प्राणापानौ समौ कृत्वा नासाभ्यन्तरचारिणौ ।।२७।।
यतेन्द्रियमनोबुद्धिर्मुनिर्मोक्षपरायण: ।
विमतेच्छाभयक्रोधो य: सदा मुक्त एव स: ।।२८।।
Shutting out all external sense objects, keeping the eyes and vision concentrated between the two eyebrows, suspending the inward and outward breaths within the nostrils, and thus controlling the mind, senses, and intelligence, the transcendentalist aiming at liberation becomes free from desire, fear, and anger. Meditation and Immunity are related 🛡️
Meditation and immunity seem to have a causative relationship. A scientific study was conducted on Mindfulness Meditation. The study suggest possible effects of mindfulness meditation on specific markers of inflammation, cell-mediated immunity, and biological aging. This shows that meditation is effective in dealing with everyday stress and anxiety.
