Mantra-Meditation: It's powerful & very easy to do
Mantra-Meditation has significant positive effects on stress and anxiety. It doesn't take much time and it is not at all complex.
Across ethnicity, we all understand and believe in the positive effects due to Meditation. Meditation is highly revered across humanity since time immemorial. Today’s era is distracted and consumed by the age of digitization. As a result, the anxiety and stress is all time high.
Regular practice of meditation has proved to be a powerful antidote to stress and anxiety.
Meditation and Bhagavad Gita:
Meditation has been discussed in detail in the Bhagavad Gita. A complete chapter is dedicated to the Dhyana Yoga. How to meditate according to the Bhagavad Gita is prescribed in Chapter-5, Sloka 27-28 where the Lord says:-
स्पर्शान् कृत्वा बहिर्बाह्यांश्चक्षुश्चैवान्तरे भ्रुवो:
प्राणापानौ समौ कृत्वा नासाभ्यन्तरचारिणौ ।।२७।।
यतेन्द्रियमनोबुद्धिर्मुनिर्मोक्षपरायण:
विमतेच्छाभयक्रोधो य: सदा मुक्त एव स: ।।२८।।
Shutting out all external sense objects, keeping the eyes and vision concentrated between the two eyebrows, suspending the inward and outward breaths within the nostrils, and thus controlling the mind, senses, and intelligence, the transcendentalist aiming at liberation becomes free from desire, fear, and anger. Mantra-Meditation: Simple & Powerful
An effective and simple way of doing Meditation is Mantra-Meditation on any vedic chant. Regular practice of meditation could help us in dealing with everyday stress and anxiety and contribute in boosting our immunity.
In remedial Astrology, practice of mantra-meditation is recommended as a strong antidote to stress and anxiety especially during the dashas of malefic planets such as Saturn, Rahu & Ketu. In general, irrespective of the dashas, one should spare atleast 5-10 minutes a day to practice mantra-mediation.
Let’s do it NOW in 5 Minutes:
Mantra-Meditation is very easy to do. We can try it right away and experience a different feeling. There are several ways prescribed for Mantra-Meditation but the most simple and effective method is as under:
Play Sri Maha Vishnu Mukti Mantra Chant or any other vedic mantra of your choice
Close the eyes and keep the face relaxed.
Imagine the forehead as a screen on which scenes starts appearing. Let the mind wander wherever it wants to. Do not get attached with any positive or negative thought or emotion. Just let the scenes pass and get replaced by another scenes.
Intermittently, focus on the mantra Chant and your breath - inhalation & exhalation.
This can be done at any time, anywhere and in any posture. To begin with, five minutes a day are sufficient till the mind wants to do more naturally.
